A Regency sabre-leg side chair, dating between 1815 and 1820. With a traditionally caned seat, in great condition. Made from beech, but ebonised to resemble mahogany, a fashionable Regency finish. This chair is extremely pleasing, with a particularly nice gently faded paint finish.
