A large 19th Century Handyside-style cast iron urn. Originally painted blue, but after over a century of sitting outside has developed a rich green patina. The bell shape is inspired by ancient Roman urns, with a wide flared egg-and-dart rim.
This would make a wonderful centre piece for a hall or garden.
